Milton Storm System Phenomenon. Too Massive to Take Risks. October 9, 2024.
October 9, 2024
Compounding the recent storm Helene, precautions are being taken against Milton. Florida athorities are predicting that Milton has at least twice the capacity, such as in feet of water, than Helene.
(If there have been orders to evacuate, it is wise to abide by them.)
Imagery of the Hurricane indicate it is very wide; satellite images show that the width from the top may be larger than some small countries. The expansive number of miles in the swirl of it all, might be collectiing other elements in the skies right in here with it, make it more than just an ordinary hurricane, a powerful phenomena.
This is not one to take risks.
If 12 feet of water were to fall, which is what some authorities say, the depths of the waters are high enough that single level properties could be completely submerged. It is not water one can get out there and walk around in waist deep.
Bridges in some areas are slated to be shut down soon, making it a no route to drive out; most are saying the best advice is to get out when you can get it out.
In terms of what other locations might be affected, there are at least several dimensions to consider:

In terms of what other locations might be affected, there are at least several dimensions to consider:
- The predicted path of the storm based off the current path
- The swirls of the storm might not equivocate to a particular path, but to all the different angles in the outward radius of the eye of the storm
- The more powerful blow of the storm might not be the eye of the storm, but the outward radius area; not to leave out a possibility of a flip-flopping back and forth of what aspecs of the storm causes the most force, outward fringes or the eye in the path
- Along with the path of the storm, there are other factors concurrent, such as rotation of the earth, other winds, and curvature of the earth
So, all states in the continental US, evident including Florida, from just to the north of Florida, and those northwest and west, along with their extensions, might be getting impacts from the Milton. -- ETIS comment: safe side readiness for today through at least this Friday, northeast storm possible path and impact FL, GA, SC, NC; northward GA, AL, TN; westward, MS, LA, northeast TX.
