California and Alaska Frontrunners of Heavy Wildfires 2015 Wildfire Season as of Beginning of July

There are numerous wildfires in California alight as we speak, exacerbated in force due to drought conditions.  Alaska seeing much land under wildfire, almost every region, except the very north and southeastern, roughly 30 wildfires currently raging.  Oregon appears to be the next in wildfire incidence number, between a half dozen an 10 fires have some level activity now, mostly concentrated in the center of the state.  Idaho and the State of Washington come in next with about a handful of wildfires each.  Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona have some fires, but not beyond several of nationwide attention level.

Wildfires in California Show Force in Numbers Far Past Previous Year

According to the LA Times article published today, conditions as anticipated, '1,000 more California wildfires than usual in 2014, and fire season just started', California is having to contend with a record number of wildfires, a huge jump from last year.
