Perhaps originally perceived  by some as a sinkhole, might be more accurately assessed as a ground collapse,  the Lauderdale County Mississippi city near routes 20 and 59 near the Alabama line, had the occurrence November 7, 2015, in a parking lot for a a newly IHOP, pancakes restaurant.
