In the wonderment of the newly discovered bacteria in a lake in the Antarctic, Lake Vostok, in contrast to medicinal values of a myriad of bacteria, one begins to wonder what the good and bads are of the bacteria.
The bacteria was publicly confirmed as being ascertained as a viable discovery earlier within the past two years by a group of Russian scientists; studies of the lake since the 1950s.
In northern regions, there are waters and regions that are perhaps less polluted than others, which might allow for the possibility for life forms to maintain states as they were for longer periods of time.
"The discovery comes from samples collected in an expedition in 2012 where a Russian team drilled down to the surface of Lake Vostok, which is believed to have been covered by ice for more than a million years but has kept its liquid state."
