... keys in regard to protection from norovirus, are ... wash your hands and wash your dishes, with clean water, when exchanging foods and having meals, especially with strangers. 
-Clean water is not necessarily the same sink full of dishwater that has been sitting there for for days used to dump and dip dirty food plates in and out of.
