DISPUR, India, April 9 (UPI) -- Attacks by animals in an Indian wildlife sanctuary killed one person and injured five others Tuesday, officials say.
The separate incidents occurred in the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in the northeastern state of Assam...
A woodcutter died after an adult rhino gored him, forest officials said.
In the other incident, five people, including a woman, on a sandbar of the Brahmaputra River were hurt when a tiger crossing into the sanctuary from Orang National Park attacked them."

NAGPUR: ...a farmer was injured in tiger attack in his farm in Junewani, 1km away from Hingni.
Around 4pm, victim Madhukar Champat Thakre (48), Hingni, was grazing his bullocks when a tiger suddenly pounced on his bull. When Thakre tried to save his bull, the tiger attacked him, injuring him on both hands and neck."

MYSORE: A tiger has attacked and injured a freelance wildlife photographer G S Ravishankar in Mysore on Thursday...
Ravishankar along with other photojournalists visited the Heggadadevana Kote following an operation to catch the tiger which has strayed into human habitat.
The big cat pounced on 40-year-old photographer while he was taking still of the tiger from a close range. Thanks to villagers of Manchanayakanahalli who were at the spot immediately rushed to his rescue and pulled him out from the jaws of death..."
