"One killed, 5 hurt in animal attacks in Indian wildlife sanctuary

DISPUR, India, April 9 (UPI) -- Attacks by animals in an Indian wildlife sanctuary killed one person and injured five others Tuesday, officials say.

The separate incidents occurred in the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in the northeastern state of Assam...

A woodcutter died after an adult rhino gored him, forest officials said.

In the other incident, five people, including a woman, on a sandbar of the Brahmaputra River were hurt when a tiger crossing into the sanctuary from Orang National Park attacked them."

Ravishankar along with other photojournalists visited the Heggadadevana Kote following an operation to catch the tiger which has strayed into human habitat.
